Scruffy is likely a wirehaired terrier/chihuahua mix.  He is a super sweet little guy but can be shy at first.  He isn't yappy like many small dogs, he tends to be the quiet one.  He is doing well with his housetraining but is afraid to come in from outside.  He jumps in excitement at the door until you open it, and then he backs away.  You will either need to leash walk him or you have to go outside and get him each time.  He will eventally get over this fear but he has not yet.  He isn't afraid of doorways within the home however.  He currently sleeps with a young boy in his foster home.  He does not have accidents at night and doesn't move.  He is a great little snuggler.  He is good with dogs of all sizes.  He has been around dogs from 4lbs to 90lbs.  He also doens't seem phased by cats.  He is great with children of all ages as well.  Scruffy was surrendered to the shelter with Mudd.

Paws of Tomorrow is not a shelter, we are a foster based rescue group. All of our dogs are in foster homes and we require a completed application prior to visiting our doggies. We want to know a little about you before sending you to meet our volunteers. All of our dogs are on our website. If they have "pending" after their name, they are pending adoption. Some of our dogs have "foster me" after their names. This means they need a foster home until they are adopted. Please fill out a foster application if you can help by fostering.  We do adopt out of state but you must pick your new baby up from us.
